One subscription instead of two
The industry's own advice is to buy one tool for the keyword data and a second one to write against it, and the cheap end of that pairing runs past $200 a month before anybody has written a word.
We think a team should be able to research, plan, write and track from one place at one price. Every plan below carries the entire toolkit and the entire agent team. What changes is how much research you can run in a month and how many people can sign in. Nothing is held back for a higher tier, and nothing gets sold to you again later.

MaxPage is a paid product and there is no free trial, so a plan is the only way in. Cancel whenever you like. Credits you have already paid for stay in your account and are still there if you come back.
What a month on each plan actually buys
Credits are our unit. Pages are yours. So here is a month counted in finished pages, for the three ways people actually work. Pick the one that sounds like you.
By a page we mean whatever the search deserves: a blog post, a landing page, a comparison against a competitor, a pricing explainer, one for a city or an industry. Each is a cluster of keywords people already type and nobody has answered properly.
You get the research, the shortlist and the plan. The writing stays yours, and so does the judgement about what is worth writing.
- Search a dozen seed terms and get the ideas around each one
- Check what competitors rank for that you do not
- Look at the live results for the keywords worth the trouble
- Group what you kept into the pages it should become
- Starter 85 pages researched and planned, every month
- Team 350 pages researched and planned, every month
- Agency 1,000 pages researched and planned, every month
You will run out of hours to write long before you run out of credits, which is rather the point of working this way.
You decide which topics are worth having. We hand back finished drafts in your own voice.
- Do the searching and the shortlisting yourself
- Group the keywords you kept into pages
- Send the ones you want written
- Get drafts back in your voice, with the research attached
- Starter 33 pages written for you, every month
- Team 130 pages written for you, every month
- Agency 400 pages written for you, every month
Every draft arrives with the keywords and questions it was built from, so you can check the thinking before you publish a word of it.
Give us the domain. Come back to a content plan and the pages already written.
- We read your site and work out what you actually sell
- We find the topics worth owning and go deep on the best of them
- We plan each page, with the questions it needs to answer
- We write them in your voice and hand you the drafts
- Starter 28 pages researched and written, every month
- Team 110 pages researched and written, every month
- Agency 340 pages researched and written, every month
This costs a little more per page than writing from your own shortlist, because the writing was always the expensive part rather than the research.
The things people ask before they pay
What is a credit, exactly?
Credits are how the work you run is accounted for. A task costs a number of credits that reflects how much work it involves, so a quick lookup costs a few and a deep run costs more. When you run something we hold an estimate, do the work, then settle against what it actually took and give you back the difference. There is no bundle you have to decode.
What happens if a run fails?
It costs you nothing. The hold is released in full and the credits are back in your pool before you have finished reading the error.
Are credits per person or shared?
Shared. One pool for the whole organisation, so bringing in a colleague costs you nothing in research. If you would rather one person could not spend the month by themselves, set a monthly limit for them on the spending limits page. That divides a pool you have already bought and never adds to it.
Do unused credits expire at the end of the month?
No. They roll over and they keep rolling. A quiet month leaves you with more to spend in a busy one, which is how it should work when you have already paid for them.
What happens when we run out mid-month?
The run is refused before it spends anything, and you are told what it needed against what you have. Nothing half-runs and nothing arrives as a surprise on an invoice. Move up a plan when you want more, and the credits land as soon as the payment clears.
Does using the AI cost more than doing it myself?
Per page, yes, and we would rather say so than let you find out. The agents run the same paid tools you would run by hand and then pay a model to read and write on top. What you are buying is the afternoon back. The numbers above show the gap exactly.
What if two of us look up the same keyword?
The second one is free. Results are cached and the cache is shared across everybody, so a term somebody pulled last week costs nothing to look at today. It is also why a second month working the same market goes further than the first.
Is there a free trial?
No. This is a paid product and a plan is the only way in. We would rather charge you honestly from the first day than fund a trial out of everybody else's subscription.
Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?
Cancel from the billing page whenever you like, without writing to anybody. There are no refunds on a subscription you have already been charged for, and there is no window to miss because there is no window. Whatever credits you have paid for stay in your account, and they will still be there if you come back next year.
Is the API included?
On Team and Agency, with its own separate pocket of credits so a runaway integration cannot eat what the people in the panel are relying on. The specification is public and needs no key to read.
Pick a plan and run one thing
You will know inside an afternoon whether this does what you need. Run something by hand, hand the next one to an agent, and compare what comes back.
